I will second their poultry mix. Use it on chicken all the time. Just did a full chicken on the pellet grill the other day. Ate on it for a couple days! I’m already planning my next one!
Their pork one is good but I haven’t found anything on pork I just love yet.
They were called the Standard Canle Cutter bought from Wildlife Control Supplies. Seems they have been discontinued most everywhere as I checked a few other trapping supply retailers.
Between the Barnes TTSX and the Etips I’ve used I’ve been very pleased with on game performance with both bullets. I’m not afraid of any of them, within their velocity parameters.
I’ve had very good luck with Etips in a different caliber. I like them more than I thought I would. In two years of using them on game, I’ve taken 4 whitetail does and one elk. From close to far they have left less than a 30 yard blood trail and been done.
That will be a great beer to go into that. I normally make it late at night when I should be sleeping, but when it’s done you’ll eat enough of it warm that you won’t be able to stay awake long after.
You all need some culture. Beer can go into bread. Especially the darker heavier varieties. I normally use ambers, porters, stouts and other dark smooth beers. This is the recipe I use:
-3 cups flour
-3 tsp baking powder
-1 tsp salt ( more on top of finished bread if desired )
-1/4 cup sugar...
