270 Weatherby, yea or neigh?
No experience with a 270 but based on mine with the 257 I wouldn’t hesitate. Slinging a little heavier bullet fast doesn’t hurt anything -

I also run a high limit on mine. A couple years ago a 15 year old girl was joy riding in her friend’s uninsured car, pulled out in front of me and totaled my truck. Boot insulation
I’ve had good luck with the arctic shield ones. Drop a hand warmer in them when you start your hike in and the blankets will be warm by the time you need them. Also, if your feet sweat, changing socks when you get where you’re going helps.- TN2shot07
