    Several things bother me. Start with hole spacing. Do not like the amount of mount real estate past the screws. I know it doesn’t matter but bugs me. Never mind the screw heads not lining up, what really bugs me is the use of slot screws in a base.

    Yes. It was two has marks (hash marks are 25yd increments). But it was 4 clicks to cover the two hash marks. Naturally the farther out you go, the more space between hash marks so the more clicks as range increases.
