I looked and handled Backcountry. Did not like. In laws have X bolts i did not like either. I bought Mesa titanium in 7mm. Love it. Shoots great for me with my loads. Just my experience and preferences -
Goose jerky
Yes. My wife does ours. Slice thin pieces. Marinate in soy sauce, whiskey, black pepper, red pepper flakes over night. Then dehydrated. Or she cuts up in strips and makes goose stir fry. One my favorites. Olive oil, soy sauce, black pepper, teriyaki. Soak 30 min. Cook in cast iron pan...- jdf

Dream Critters
Numbers do not determine a trophy to me. I harvested a spike elk on a remote diy hunt that I was happy to harvest as much as diy 400 inch bull I have harvested. Trips every year to different states and memories are my trophies. But dall and stone sheep will be my lifetime dream hunts.- jdf
