I agree Ben, its been a long time coming, and I feel very fortunate to have the tag in hand. Going to do my best to give this tag justice. Work will have slowed considerably by then, and I'm hoping to have a new custom in hand to try out on one of these critters...

Strictly on an investment basis, financially you'd be better off putting that money into something that produces a return annually, and has the potential to appreciate in value.
Then use some of that return for getting away.
But, on the other hand, it's hard to put a price on the memories...

Archery hunted that area many moons ago. It was very good at the time.
The celebrities have changed hunting in Iowa considerably since then. Archery public is still pretty good. But NR gun tags are much easier to come by. Tags are over $500 but included a doe tag.
