H&S Precision Stocks
This is a Manners SL. This butt pad might be what you're looking at. It's pretty thick, as well as soft. This rifle is a 6.5 SAUM. It has a Vias brake. Recoil is less than a .243. I'm not a big fan of brakes either, but for a dedicated hunting rifle it's not hard to get by....range time and... -

Deadheads - Let's see 'em
Wolf skull I found last winter. Took awhile to dig it out of the frozen ground without breaking it. It's in perfect condition. The bottom picture shows it along side of a large male wolf skull I killed in SW Montana a few winters ago.- psinclair

Newbie question here
Put your time in hunting our unlimited units. Do it while you're young and able. It may take you a few years to get it figured out, but you will find success and learn a lot about ram hunting. I've said this many times, an old ram taken in an unlimited area is one of the most cherished trophies...- psinclair
