I think Scott’s ended up 185. It had smaller bases than we thought. I think 15 3/4. It’s crazy hard to judge them. They all have different characteristics- Lawnboy

Like I said I had heard that a couple guys had got some good rams. We had received some information from a bow elk hunter about some he had seen hunting. Mountain Goat field judging

Montana Bull Elk Point Burn
I was going to bring the same thing up. Why the 375 mark? 350+ really is a true trophy in any state but like was mentioned if you've attained that mark already I can understand your reasoning. -

I dang near wore out my parents vcr watching "Hunting Rocky Mtn Mule Deer"as a kid. I still have the vhs and remember watching him sneak on bucks. That still is the best deer video I've ever seen with huge bucks. I'll always have a place in my heart for that man. -
Barrel Maker Suggestions
I have a gun with a Shilen that shoots lights out and 2 others with Bartlien. They all shoot good. The Shilen was my first custom so I've always had a little crush for it. -

I have one and love it. It's my baby and it shoots really well really far. For awhile I was worried about not finding brass so I went on a hoarding brass hunt. I have about 350-400 new brass now. I think I'll be ok now. LOL. A friend talked me into the caliber and I had a guy build me one.
