This said, the decline in mule deer isn’t the total fault of FWP either. Other factors play
In the decline as well. Otherwise we’d see md populations doing really good on inaccessible land and/or in other states/provinces doing really well.
Just an observation, if things are as rosy as painted why is everyone bitchin’ about the state of mule deer populations?
Without some common sense folk pushing for no mulie does hunted on public land we’d continue to see slaughter commencing on accessible lands….unless im
Completely...
And for the first time in history we are looking at some radical changes(any change in deer hunting is deemed radical in Mt)in the way the the state manages deer with these guys at the helM?
Maybe they will prove me wrong.

Funny, all you have done is bitch about FWP when it suited your agenda, now there’s a political slant and you cry foul?
All I say is I’d be willing to bet where there is smoke there most like is a flame.
Oh but wait….liberals never miss a chance
To turn something into a disgusting political $hit storm.

Just about every NR hunter “has to fill their tag”. This...
I’m all for it. However getting the dept to go for it, and the masses is a little different. My approach is to avoid LE permits for a while, but it is where I believe we wind up. It is inevitable. When we wind up at LE permits, I’ll will lead the fight to make the permit one worth drawing...

I’m hopeful we can find a way to keep from going LE permits for a few more years.
I’m genuinely amazed at how narrow sighted and fearful of change. I don’t hunt the...
It was mentioned, and will be looked into at the next meeting in June. I’m hoping no does on public, a mostly October season coupled with species/region pick will be enough, if not we look at caps for NR&R.
I wish it would go for the ‘25 season also, but we’re moving at the speed of...
