Lol absolutely not. The “sapphire” and “ruby” series are both a see-through translucent that does well to reflect and refract any little bit of light. It helps a lot! But no, not glow in the dark or “illuminated” in any way. Lol

Yes, it is not designed to shoot beyond your typical ethical bow hunter standards. The tick marks on a 290 fps sight insert give you out to 80 yards I believe, but i wouldnt suggest using the V to make the “educated guess” on the range beyond probably 45. Anything I’d guess to be beyond 40-45...

Couple things: first- they definitely will roost in different trees throughout the season for a number of reasons. Food, weather, pressure etc.
