Pin distance
Mine is set up as 30,40,50,60. I've found my set up shoots flat enough that 20yds using my 30 pin is 1.5-2'" low. I like the ease of knowing 0-30yds it's my first pin. To each their own though. Best of luck! -

Carry a spare release in the field?
Years ago when I first got into archery and bought a bow, one thing I remember the shop owner taught me was where to keep my release. From day one if my release is not on my wrist it's on the grip of my bow. You never forget it, and it somewhat prevents someone picking up your bow and dry firing it. -
Carry a spare release in the field?
I as well always have a back up release in my pack. -

@MinnesotaHunter I've been shooting FMJs for probably 7+ years now, couldn't imagine that you wouldn't like them. I always buy bare shaft though, can't speak to the pre-fletched. For my personal set up 3.5" - 4" fletch AAE is what I like, never have cared for pre-flecthed blazers. I shot Gold... -

Turtle nesting continues here. I caught 7 different snappers this wknd laying, there's nesting spots like this all along my damn. Sunday morning early I walked up and caught a raccoon digging up eggs right beside to other snappers laying. Survival rate has to be terrible, coons are hammering it...- Elkoholic
