    Little bit of a rough start to the season. It's mid 90s and I couldn't ethically kill an elk 3 miles back in and pack it out without spoiling the meat.     Boise had 7 rushing touchdowns today. Ill be interested to see how they stack up against such a good defense. Man, BSUs D was awful though. Idaho looks much better

    Making some elk jerky and 1100 calorie snack packs. Super convenient to throw in the pack. This week is going to be a hot one. 90's on Tuesday. I'll be sitting on water holes hoping to see something. Got 4 tags in my pocket and 6 days to kill.

    I also had that tag about 7 years ago. Only saw a few elk and they were all on the western side. That was a long time ago, though.

    I used 777 in Idaho with musket caps. Worked great on my elk hunt. I wish wyoming had a traditional ML season.

    Heading out for the archery opener in Wyoming. I'll be out the 1st-5th for this trip. Hoping to get a pronghorn and or a deer in velvet. Maybe a raghorn will stumble through the area and catch an arrow.

    Definitely the wrong government! I get 8 hours of leave and 4 hours of sick time every 2 weeks. Plus I get comp time for any overtime and award time for my appraisals.

    Longshot - need land access, Aladdin, WY

    I'm guessing it's a PVT land only tag. I know it's a long drive, but might want to go knock on some farmers doors that have pivots up there. Whitetail are plentiful in the area. I wish I knew someone.
