Thanks. He was pretty excited. If I looked hard enough I could probably find the same one - just three decades older.
He thought the field day portion of the course was fun. We topped it off with a Fleet Farm run to check out some chicks and a stop at Chipotle. Days don’t get much better.
Exactly. Twelve pages of crap and this is what it boils down to.
“Trophy hunting” has been used by the anti hunters to vilify hunters for years - shoot the animal, take the antlers, leave the rest to rot. All of us here agree that’s wrong. It’s not hunting, it’s killing. Unfortunately, I...
As an FYI, WI has been counting wolves for decades and under charging nonresidents for longer than that. There’s an embarrassing amount of room to increase license/point prices and provide more funding for wildlife.
What a stupid political statement. The whole point of a numeric population goal is to account for the social, biological, and legal complexities of a recovered wolf population.
If your kids like dinosaurs, figure out a way to get to the Wyoming Dinosaur Center and check out one of their dig for a day (or a couple hours) excursions. Blow your kid’s mind. Our son was 9 and daughter was 7.

I’ve been thinking about TSS, but I can...
So many options . . . The new hotness in turkey guns is TSS.
How much of a concern is cost/budget?
If KILLING turkeys were the most important part of the hunt for me, I’d go with something bigger than a 20 gauge, probably in a semi auto or maybe an O/U, find a good choke/TSS combo, and...
Clueless. At that point it’s trash. Haul it out of the woods and do as you wish. And not half as bad as the lazy, entitled, tree killing, POS/SOB that left the stand there to garbage up public land and kill a perfectly good tree. Any other ignorant comments you wish to make today?
@thomas89 unfortunately I think what you’re going through is not uncommon. When we relocated five years ago we bought our house in the greater metro area based on the school district. Arguably the top district in the state.
In first grade, my kid heard the word you cited, many times, and...
