What's yer total?
I do have a spread sheet that tallies kills, locations, who I was with, number of shots, distance, shooting position, etc. The numbers help you sort through the BS over time. I wish I had details of every animal I shot AT, not just the ones killed. That's where the real lessons are. My mentor...- Ben Long

I (kinda) remember going ice fishing with a couple dorm buddies on Spirit Lake in northern Idaho while I attended UI. After kokanee, but with several cases of Black Label beer. (Uff da.) Hunting with spotters, cell phones, and blue-tooth headphones
This kinda chit used to piss me off more than it does now. Mostly I just feel sorry for the dude. I'd rather blow a stalk on my own than have someone whisper me into range via Bluetooth. Maybe it's just me but the experience is what I'm after, not the wall-hanging.- Ben Long

What do I need to know about Moose
So many of you wished me well in my moose hunt, so you deserve an update. Sadly, it's tag soup. The FWP stats in that unit say a hunter puts in an average of 17 days to get a moose.
