Fun project today. A freestanding mounting stand for a cabinet. Goes on the production floor so everything had to be sealed up, including sleeves for where the legs go.
Switched to them from Barnes ttsx in my '06 after it took 4 shots at 40 yards to put an elk down a few years back. All of the ttsx bullets opened and looked great. None of them exited. After seeing what the eld bullets did to the antelope and mule deer I killed last year, I think those could...
Felt like Barrios probably should've won that last fight. I think as long as Jake Paul survives the first few rounds, then he will win the fight. Even at his age though, I think Tyson's speed is going to surprise Paul.
We've done some tedious work but I don't think I've been as happy to see something leave the shop as I will be when this project is over. Making 4 trays for a parts coating machine. Each tray has a total of 336 welds involved.
Killed a little 8 point this evening in game lands. First one I've killed with a muzzleloader in a couple years. Came in behind me, just about ran me over and then he turned inside out and went the other way. Hollered at him and he stopped 30 yards away.
Been a while since I pulled everything up. But the good ol NC growing season (still haven't had a frost yet) keeps going. Volunteer late squash plant is growing well.

A lot of in-position stuff yesterday getting some tees cut in. No way to purge through these lines so that's why we had to put ferrules in. Picture sucks because I was just getting proof everything was in place when I left.
When we were up in the rainforest it definitely felt like a different place than I had been before. We were a little insulated in what we saw because we were working so much that we didn't really see more than a snapshot of the country and the culture. A nice place for sure. I can imagine back...
Just flew into the capital. We have a few hours before we have to check in for our flight to Turkey so we are going to go visit the market and get some lunch. It's been a good trip, I am looking forward to being home though.
Cell network is down so I haven't had a chance to post, but today was our last work day. We finished the goal of getting all the trusses up, all the cross braces installed, and all but 1 course of purlins installed. It was sketchy at times and a lot of work, but the result is very good. Tomorrow...
