    I do, I’ve got some good mtn quail spots over the years. Elevation/birds goes something like this valleys, mountains, chukar, sooties, ptarmigan.

    Not sure why but they don’t jump out at me, maybe it’s the no dog thing. I’d rather go chase ptarmigan again and get them dialed.

    Any chance this is their scat, found it around 9k in the sierras? My best guess was wintering grouse scat

    Was in the sierras and I think our grouse did ok, I saw a bunch of conifer droppings I assumed was wintering birds at around 9k

    It’s not an albino but it’s some sort of genetic mutation, over a mile out I couldn’t get a good pic. The first pic is a ram we passed, had some fun out there.

    That’s rad, helped my buddy guide a hunter last year. Tough unit but we ended up getting it done. They also have silver sheep out there which was rad to glass up.
