Colorado High Country Elk & Mule Deer - Unit 43

I've never hunted 43 but hunt a lot on the other side of the divide...weather can be anything from 70's to freeze your arse off, best bet is to plan to be flexible and look at the weather patterns predicted closer to the start date. I wouldn't sweat bugs, especially compared to MN. Elk can be...

    Stand for the Anthem

I'm a Veteran, so on one hand I fought for peoples right to protest (even if I find it retarded)......On the other hand, I've been to many countries where those people would do anything to have the opportunities we are blessed with. I say if you want to protest, protest in a better fashion...

    Womens hunting boots

If your feet are able to find a cross over in men's, I bought my wife Danner Canadians. We do a ton of back country hiking, and a lot of vertical as well....The soles last well, and we clean and treat them after every hunt. I've had one pair last over 20 years before I replaced them. All my...

    Small steel for knives?

I do all my own butchering and processing and have used the old knife steel to take the edge off the blades many times....after hunting Wyoming where you have to basically field butcher animals in CWD units to remove the spine, I'm looking for a hand held steel similar to the one in your kitchen...
