Who handgun hunts and what do you use?

Black powder substitutes?
Black powder can be found at Buffalo arms or Powder Inc. They have it on a regular basis but you have to order it online and pay a hazmat fee. If you can split a case with a few others it cuts your costs.- Dan O

Pin distance
I have pins set at 20 30 40 50 60 70 80. The 40 and 60 pins are red the others are green. That makes it easy to locate the pin you need when you're in a hurry and helps to eliminate confusion. My longest shot on a deer was 42 yards and elk 35 yards. -

New generator
I've had 2 Honda 2000 generators for a number of years. The original has the ability to charge a vehicle battery with a simple set of cables. I run them in tandem and they will run the AC in the camper and the microwave at the same time. They are pricey but are portable and totally dependable...- Dan O

Bullet mold?
The T/C has shallower rifling than my Green River Leman. The T/C was developed to shoot both conical and PRB while the Green River has deeper rifling and a slower twist. I think it is 1 in 72 and is a 58 cal. The Green River is designed for PRB.- Dan O

Bullet mold?
I have had good luck with the T/C Maxi Ball. It's weighs 370 grains, and the top band slightly engraves with the rifling. 80 to 90 grains of 2f Goex works good for me in my rifle. From what I've heard is the T/C Maxi Hunter expands much better on deer. I've shot several White Tail Bucks with the...- Dan O

Outdoor wood burning furnace
We have the Blaze King "King", Also. We go through 3 to 4 cords a winter. The burn time on this stove is amazing. We cut Pine, Spruce and Larch whichever is close to the road. When were gone the propane boiler hot water baseboards keeps the house warm.- Dan O
