I have a Jojan 6 fletcher with straight and helical clamps. Once you get adjusted it works fine. The best is the Bitzenbuger but to get 6 to do a half dozen at a time is pricey. Most guys get by with one jig, just be patient it takes a while.
First deer was with Dads pre 64 model 70 270win with a 4x weaver. That was around 50 years ago. Dads been gone for 16 years but I still have that rifle. Every once in a while, I take it out hunting and know he is with me in spirit.
As much as many folks here would enjoy such an opportunity it's just to much of a risk for you and your family. You have worked hard to make your cabin special. It would only take one group to turn it all upside down and ruin all you have worked for. If you do go ahead and try it just be careful...
Reading the list from the department of woke wildlife of Colorado what could go wrong?
Hope this works for all the woke wolves out there ;) Just show them your big stick, just saying.
In the middle of something similiar currently. Having knowledge of the legal standing is important as it should guide a person in how they proceed. But no matter what we say she is the one who has to do what she is comfortable with. I wish her the best.
I agree it sounds like she is okay, but it is better for her peace of mind to know exactly what legal protection she has. Once she has the knowledge of the state law and her legal standing, then have the heart to heart with the kids. This way she can set them straight and dissolve any doubts...
I'm sorry for your loss, it's never easy especially with those that feel entitled to something they don't deserve.
Contact an attorney that deals with estates. Get the needed legal advice and go from there. Your Mom does not need the stress of family drama. The quicker the better to protect...
I made the jump to the Labradar. I have a Oehler 33 and while it works it takes time to set up and is finicky to weather and light. I only have had my Labradar out one time so far. It sets up quickly and reads the shots each time. Plus, it gives reading from the muzzle and at three more...
Just buy it!!! I have had one since the 80's. It's a Ruger tang safety wearing a 2x7 Burris, no iron sights. I have shot a number of elk using the 250 grain partition and one young bull moose. The first mule deer I shot was a 4x4. It was a down hill shot in a clear cut. I heard the hit and when...
Congratulations on a nice bull. You had a steep learning curve, but you made the most of it. The one notable thing is no tents were harmed in the making of this thread ;)
Enjoy reliving your hunt each time you look at the antlers or have a delicious meal of a great animal.
The paving is complete in both lanes as of today 10-13-23. They need to work on guard rails and clean up, striping and other odds and ends. Woodworth still needs work but life will be better for everyone now. Next spring it will start all over when they tear up the north half with the lights and...
Well folks as a resident of Seeley I get a kick out of your occasional inconvenience. Some folks here deal with it daily and it does suck.
I spoke to a Kiewit employee in town 2 days ago. He mentioned shortage of materials and the long haul from the Pit east of Ovando. They had to increase the...
Great write up and pic's. That would be a heck of a pack for two guys but by yourself WOW!!!
What gun and load did you use. Were you able to recover the bullet?
