I just finished Recursion by Blake Crouch. It was really good. I finished the Wayward Pines series by Crouch just before that. Those books were really really good too.
I agree. I think its really easy to only look at things from a first person point of view. Maybe he had a ton to do that day and that was the only time he could get out there. I mean who knows? I don't think flipping someone off is ever the answer, but to each his own I guess.

Just your regular gear. If it’s high quality gear it’ll work fine. Weather could be rough or it could be beautiful. The mountains are going to do what they do. One of the good things is the heli can carry a ton of weight so if you’re camping where you get dropped off you can kind of take whatever.

I used 11x45's. and carry a lightweight spotter. 15's are just too much for me. The problem with 15's is if you have to scan something like 200yds away its going to be almost impossible. Honestly, if you're under 500yds 15's might be too much. I'd run some 10-12's and invest in a lightweight...
