    Big ol Burban?

Oh, I got the core support painted and half back together. I am waiting for the fender paint project to be done before I finish installing it. For now it’s just sitting there waiting.

    Big ol Burban?

Body man I am not, but I’m learning. The fender is apart so I thought I would try fixing a dent that bothered me. I have to sand the primer down yet but here is my first attempt progress.

Yep, I can knock grouse out of the tree when it’s assembled without firing a shot. I didn’t have a suppressor when it was designed. Now I do and I ordered it where it would work on it.

I don’t remember, think 25, but it’s been a while. I had it cut to just fit in the safe and keep as much FPS as possible.

It sends a 175 LRX around 3200 if I remember right. It’s a little stiff without a brake or suppressor. With the suppressor it shoots nice but 3-4 shots you can cook an egg on it.

I think about it a lot. It was a purpose built rig and if I ever draw one of those type tags again, I wonder if I will miss it. 8 lbs scoped

I would own that Marlin lever Paul built you, if you ever wanted to part with it.

I have found it nice to build from the same platform. It’s just nice to have everything operating the same with the same trigger. When I was building them I thought I wanted Mcmillian and other composite stocks. I miss the feel of a wood stock. I’m slowly switching back.

It’s a 700 LA that I had Paul switch over to a mag bolt face and chambered.

The safe full of Remingtons. I’ve stepped away to a different brand a couple times. None of them survived, they all got sold.

Case dimensions are different. Neck length is different as well. The 30/06ai you have to fire form. The 30-280ai only has to have 280ai brass ran thru a 30cal expander.

We have that wind you’re complaining about, it brought snow with it.

I have a ton of 30 cal stuff and everything in my safe is a Remington. A Tikka would never survive the teasing. I don’t shoot it much but when I go to Alaska it would be the ticket. To sell it to fund another would work, I’m just having a hard time stomaching the cost to make that happen.

The PRC started as a 300 Sherman. I have all the dies and 50 pieces of brass. But with the cost of FF brass it wasn’t worth it to redo it. That brass only lasted two firings. We have been discussing a 30-280ai. It would solely be for shits and giggles. It doesn’t offer much gain in...

I have a 300 PRC that is a custom build on a 700 platform. It is an amazingly accurate long range bomber. If I had to shoot across canyons I would absolutely use it. I’ve killed several elk with it and it’s just deadly. Problem is I don’t shoot across canyons. Also not particularly...

New 30-06. Thinking about trying copper.

@Southern Elk how about an update? I’m very curious as to how this turned out this season.

    Good Guy List

You list them as a good guy and someone buys based on that and it was a scam. The original HT was hacked and the hacker was using the good guy status you gave them to take advantage of another member.

Pink camo, #dadbodhunter, and a whole lotta stupid!

Bright side is you didn’t buy a sensor you didn’t need. Also, there are a lot of meth heads in Casper motels that will find you an engine on the cheap.
