ES and SD matter more the farther out you shoot. My 1000 yd loads I like an ES of 20 or less. For hunting loads, I like to keep ES 50 or less, the farthest I'm willing to shoot at fur is 400 yds.
Load density, I try to be somewhere in the 85%-104% range, with at least .01" jump to the lands...
I think Lasercast are better than Missouri.
The bolt comes out easily, there's a few for internals than a Marlin because of the transfer bar system. I've had a couple come in that were shooting black. Yuck.
I remember now. It is fairly easy to flex those actions. Hopefully the bedding helps. A little bit of high pressure grease on the bolt lugs may help too.
Also, I very rarely go over 45in/lb on action screws.
For those members who have had work done by me, I am asking that you leave a short, honest Google review. If you leave 5 stars great, if you don't think I deserved 5 stars, say so. All I ask is that you are specific enough in your descriptions that Google doesn't delete the review.
I need to...
The easiest is to mount the pillars to the action, and do everything as an assembly. You can use the action screws if going that route. Do a dry run to make sure nothing is binding.
Don't forget release agent on the action before attaching the pillars!
