I have one of the kinetic energy rope from Matt's Off Road. (y)(y) I've used it 6 times this past month and is works very well. First pull F-350 pulling Ram 2500 out of the snow and then the Ram pulling the Ford 4 more times. With evenly weighted trucks it works and works very well with more...
Here's another angle on the raffle ram. This herd is a direct result of a CPW trap and transplant funded in large part by auction and raffle funds. It reestablished this herd that died out decades ago. This is where these RMBS raised raffle funds go to create more herds and hunting...
One option for a sheep goat or moose hunt might be female tags. The hunt and experience are nearly the same and the odds are significantly better in most cases.

Maybe the RMBS could help fund a capture, solicit and provide volunteers to help test sheep in this impacted unit. Since most of the sheep should and could accessible during the next few months on the winter range maybe his could be an option? It has to be easier to catch them in this unit...
I have been lucky enough to harvest the Big 3 in Colorado and have actually done it 2x if you count females of the species for moose. My closest Big 3 was mt goat @ 28 miles from the house. My archery bull moose was 46 miles and my archery bighorn was 55 miles for a total of 129 miles as the...
Awesome bull!
I have him at 5.5 eye widths so 50.25/5.5 = 9.136 inches eye to eye. * This is not a scientific measurement but close enough for most estimations.
If you need him officially scored in 60 days for B&C or the Longhunter Society let me know.

Rules of thumb for a B&C min moose from what I've seen on 10+ shiras moose hunts plus scoring 20 or so for B&C.
1- Spilt brows at least 2 point up front. 3 or 4 points in front is better usually. Some splits are way out there and can add 8 or more inches per side that's 15 to 16 inches or 10%...
I'm not sure what unit you are in but what I see in the pics are a good group of 3-7 year old rams. I'd be willing to bet there's a smaller group of 3-6 rams that are 8-10 year old hanging out someplace. Good luck!

For those that want to see how the draw works I wrote this up in 2005 for the RMBS.

Not sure...
I'm going to be busy this fall for sure as I drew some good tags-
Bear 9/2-9/30 over laps part of the mt goat unit and dates
RFW Bull elk 9/2-9/6
Mt Goat 9/7-10/31 overlaps part of the bear and deer units and dates.
Muzzy buck 9/11-9/19 overlaps most of the mt goat unit and dates.
Pronghorn...
Copied form that other thread-
Colorado has around 310 sheep tags in the public draw and a couple more in raffles.
The vast majority of their tags are available to regular people and the RMBS does a great job advocating for sheep.
