Hunting near a bedding area? Ground Blind or Saddle?
I'm getting in close to a buck's bedding area this afternoon. I'll be in a ground blind about 100 yds or so from where he's been bedding. Much prefer it to climbing a tree that close. 2022 Colorado Cow Moose
I can relate. I put on for a CO cow moose, did not draw, and put in for WY antelope. I drew the antelope tag, and a week later CPW offered me the moose tag that someone turned back in. So I'm headed to CO then WY in a few weeks. Good luck on your tag!- FranklinME

I have a cow tag in North Park, Co units 7/8. Everything I see references the same 500-1200lbs for a Shiras cow, I think it come's from the YNP website, but it seems everything you google is a cut and paste from there.. Are more people hunting with the rise in food costs?
I will shoot more does than normal this year for sure. Pork and beef will be largely replaced in our freezer. Very economical here in NJ where I can drive 5-10 minutes and shoot unlimited does. Best Sandwich Ever
You can get decent cheese steaks all over, but never from a chain. That's a steak sandwich like we would get on Wednesday's for school lunch in grade school. Best sandwich in Jersey/Philly area is roast pork.- FranklinME
