5 mile squares. It seems like if I open the area while I have service and then go offline it’s fine, but if I open the map while I’m already out of service I can’t see the red lines for private- Mainer207

Been running onX for a year with no problem...it’s been the main ingredient for me scouting in the pieces of state land I hunt in NY. But my last trip out I had an issue with the app. When I’m in offline mode (running saved maps) I cannot see the private land lines. I have the layer turned on...- Mainer207

How to clean out a broken freezer full of goo?
My mentor and the owner of the camp I’ve been hunting out of since I was a child lost a freezer full of backstrap a couple years back. Haunts him to this day. Breaks my heart to hear this kind of story!- Mainer207

I’d like to keep my strategy simple. As an eastern guy, I don’t see myself hunting every state out west. I’d like to have 2-3 that I get to know over the years. And have ample opportunity. Thanks for this! I realized after I bought the deer bonus that I could’ve settled for the pref point, as I really only want general tags. You’d keep the MT elk bonus point as part of the strategy?- Mainer207

If you were a newbie and could only build points for 5 tags what would they be? This is my first year building points and so far I’ve gone for MT deer bonus point, MT elk bonus point, WY deer, and WY antelope. I don’t have a 5th yet but after this thread I may.... I was fitted at a pretty well respected shop. I was shooting in his 3D range at a moving deer target. It was more of a messing around kind of shot and the rush led to the foreman slap. I did make a pretty good shot though :ROFLMAO: -

Honestly, that’s why I’m leaning toward a deer hunt. A little more adventure for the first trip out. If we do an antelope hunt we would like to at least have two buck tags and a doe tag between us. -
