    Maybe the Barnes TTSX 130 grain is a better option. Priced in the middle and bullet retention for elk over the ELDX and accubond and being a longer bullet it would help buck the wind at longer ranges . Should be great medicine for deer and pronghorn.

    I would assume non bonded bullets have the same type separation. I shot plenty of spear , sierra type bullets and have found the jackets laying in the dirt at my shooting range. The accubonds just flat out work but the price of the ELDX is way more appealing! Lol

    Just be careful what unit in region 4 your hunting . I could be wrong but a general elk tag might only be good for a cow. (general rifle)

    Thanks, when I looked at the 2016 draw it seamed whoever applied got a tag no matter the preference point. Am I reading it wrong?

    I purchased a preference point this year and was hoping to apply for a black hills deer tag for next year. Does anyone know what the draw odds are for this area? Any chance on getting a tag with one preference point or should I just save it and get another one next year?
