I think they were trying to argue (very poorly) that the hunting regs state its the hunters responsibility to know where they are and that they have to access it legaly. Instead just went off in to no man's land trying to talk about all the different kinds of access available to hunters.
Well there is actually 80 permits for the elk hunt that they give out. But look how small the area is how many people do you think could hunt that at the same time?

I have trouble believing the population estimate of about 1,000. Over 10% of the population was harvested in three days? All during weekdays? Tough to believe. Before I moved out of the state in 2015 I had a bear hunt in zone 1 and saw more wolves than deer baiting that summer.
