Looking for something like this? Doesn't run off fuel but it's light and could give off decent light

MSR did make a Dragonfly Lantern at one time but not sure they do anymore, just the stove.
Can also try to find one of these which I think is more along...
Bears and lions for the most part here. I guess to some extent poisonous snakes and spiders but you can try to avoid that more than you can a bear and lion. It's not even at camp that bothers me about bears, those "usually" can be scared away. It's early morning/late night going to/from camp, if...
I did the math based on how many people apply in KY which is about 33k and it came out that you'd have a .12% chance of drawing a tag, but will probably end up being less because MO has about 2 million more people than KY, so that 33k number is probably low(although KY allows NR and I'm not sure...
Looks like here in MO we'll bet getting our first elk season in a couple years. Although limited tags, very limited.

I've never had an issue w/short distances and 175 grain CL's are all I've ever shot in my 7mm mag, infact I don't think I've shot anything over 100 yards with it.
If you're shooting w/in a couple hundred yards, then they'll work fine. Yea there's better bullets, but there's really no need to get them if you're trying to stay w/in a budget and save as many dollars as you can.
Patriot in my opinion. I'm sure he gave info to other countries but it sounds like that was more due to saving his on a$$ from the U.S. and it probably would have be released to the world shortly anyway. I believe our gov't has way to much power/authority and abuses it way to much, not just...
Very true Schmalts, what a lot of people don't realize is "Made in America" isn't always 100% made in America. I think(not sure on this) the law states that the final product must be assembled in the U.S. and 50% of the materials must be made in the U.S for a product to receive the "Made in...
Not all of the parts in Leupold optics are made in the USA actually, they use to be but not anymore, I know some of the glass is made overseas. But were Vortex beats Leupold is in their warranty. I was actually getting ready to buy a Kenai about 2 weeks ago and wanted to be clear on their...
I use a New Trent battery back. I have the 7000mah but only for a phone you'd prob need something a little larger but they work great.

From what I've read 3 miles is about what it's good for. I don't believe that is for picking apart specifics of antlers at that distance just more of a "is it a shooter and is it big or not?" type question. Again that is just what I've read.
I actually just ordered the little 50mm Razor a couple days ago, should get it this week. Supposedly it's the top 50mm spotter out there just edging out the Nikon. I'm not an optics expert but I can let you know what I think when I get it this week.
Had Region D also as my 2nd choice, was hoping to have a deer tag while on my elk hunt. Looks like they cut the tags by a decent amount(which prob isn't a bad thing), and a lot more applied for that region compare to previous years.
