Did the antelope Hunt Area 23 Type 2 licenses sell out in the second draw? If not maybe you would not even need to apply in the first application period. Wait until the second application period and apply for the HA 23 Type 2 license and then purchase a preference point during the time period...
Your statement is generally correct in that grizzlies are culled or trapped and transplanted annually. This indicates that grizzlies, where they are actually located, tend to "get into trouble" when there are people in close proximity. So, if there are grizzlies in the Medicine Bow mountains...
The ultrasounds done on those deer a year ago when they were first captured and collared showed the mule deer in the upper Powder River herd go into the winter in a very similar body condition as the mule deer in the western part of Wyoming come out of the winter. Not good news if you are a...
Some Wyoming G&F regional offices used to maintain "landowner lists", these were just a list of all landowners in the area, not just the landowners that allowed hunting. However, the offices eliminated those lists due to the controversy they caused, both from hunters and landowners.

A seasonal movement or just a big bunch of critters pushed by someone or something from one area to another and they just happen to cross a road.

To get your license deferred a year you need to get a letter from your doctor and make your request to G&F prior to the season starting. Then there is a process, a simple one, to get your license the following year.

Landowner coupons have never been used to determine big game harvest in Wyoming. Landowners submit the coupons they collect from hunters to the local game warden, who in turn submits them to the Cheyenne office so a check can be cut to the landowner.

Agree with you 100% madtom; I will not allow any of my family to eat a known CWD positive critter. Others can call me an alarmist if they want, that's fine. I am just going to take the safe path.

I am not sure where you are getting your information, but in Wyoming there is only one "captive herd" and CWD was an issue in the southeast part of the state long before it got close to that captive herd which is in the north central part of the state.
CWD was first identified in a research...
A guy from Minnesota killed two moose this year in Wyoming thinking they were elk. Got citations for killing the wrong species and party hunting.

If you are going to talk to people in Wyoming about doe antelope licenses or antlerless deer licenses refer to the licenses as Type 6 licenses, not "B tags", that is a Montana term that doesn't mean anything in Wyoming.
I would not worry at all about hunting buck antelope in late...
Maybe no one in Pennsylvania has "seen any that display signs", but in Wyoming, on the ranch that I hunt, I have seen four white-tailed bucks that displayed signs of CWD. Two of those bucks were shot and the tests came back positive. The other two wandered off and were never seen again...
On the way to and back from the area I hunt and at the area I hunt I often see in excess of 100 deer total (both mule deer and white-tailed deer). Most or all of these deer are on private property where no hunting is allowed. But, I enjoy seeing those deer none the less.
This is in Wyoming...
