My buddy bought these it sounded like this guy sells binos every year. I have slc's and love them.

I agree with Miller.
There are lots of access points to that unit with goats viable from the road. As for as the road closures I hope that is not discouraging as the closures may very well be the reason the population has grown enough to double the permits given out about 3 years ago...
I use superfeet in all my boots. The Gore-Tex membrane generally fails elsewhere first. I would monitor the heal area for any rubbing but I have not had any issues.
Ben I am not sure I completely understand your question? Requiring people to sign in and follow the rules of the BMA including daily limits of hunters to cross the landowners land I completely agree with. The part that I do not like is the ability for a landowner to limit and in some cases...
I called the coordinator to specifically ask about hunting legally accessible state land that is with the BMA. They said that you have to have BMA permission.

the DNRC confirms that...
I would hunt the area making sure to get there early. I would leave my contact info at the camera with a request to contact me so I could coordinate with the other hunter and not end up with two of use there at the same time. I think in some cases people leave things like that to try and stake...
Finding the ownership of roads is frustrating at best. I have to believe that there are a lot more county roads than show up on your free online map. I think that I would likely get a BLM map narrow the area I wanted to hunt down as far as possible and then ask the county road dept about...
I loved the free month. I had big plans to complete my application strategy for 2017 during the month. I spent a lot of time looking at various options but did not even come close to getting all the info I need. I am certain that this free trial will cost me come December. At least I can ask...

A have gone with a captain Bruce. I can't recall his last name but he owns a boat called the memory maker. He is a great guy and great fisherman. he operated out of homer in 2008 and 2010.

Thank you for the invite I will not be able to make it tonight. We should plan another meet up in a few (6) months. Hope you guys have a great time.

Pretty sure Greenhorn just referred to me as a dumb guy.:D I guess there is a reason I moved on from the areas I hunted in college. I did see some nice bulls when I hunted the edge of turners and Deckard flats. I haven't been to either spot in almost 10 years.
Rob,
I do not mean to be discouraging. When you get your feet on the ground in bozo and get some maps things will not be as intimidating. I hunted the area that you identified when I lived in Bozeman. It is accessible from either the Madison or Gallatin side and is about 8-9 miles either way...
If you could drive there it wouldn't be worth the time. As it is, it is just a bit far for a day hunt at least for me but makes a perfect pack in for the weekend.
