Wyoming point creep. How bad will it be for the NR elk draw this year?
I did this last year. Watching WY sit on applications for eons nearly exploded my brain. While doing this, it is good to take a break and watch paint dry for a few days and then watch some more. -

WWYD? Point Creep Strategy?
Some WY units jump up two (2) or even four (4) points from year to year. Yet, applying one point above average required points is a good strategy for most units. That's standard intel from the WGF.- JAG

Wyoming elk hunt recap
Excellent work! I'm going to the bighorns in October for my son's rifle tag. Hoping the other big ones flee from the east by the time I get to town. We are very excited. About how many inches did this one fetch? -

1000ft in .7 miles.
ONX and CalTopo (free and good) have good steepness tools that assign color codes and grade percentages. Even though I can get a number (45%) assigned to the steepness of a slope, I still think the map was lying to me once I start climbing it.- JAG

goHUNT EXPLORER Map Membership offer to Hunt Talkers
Onx does not like it when you transfer waypoints into their system; you can not edit them. GoHunt on the other hand allows you to edit these waypoints and update them; bulk editing?!- very nice! - I had over 500 waypoints in one unit so this was handy. Thank you for adding green as a color...- JAG
