Hang fire on a centerfire rifle?
I had this happen on a gun of mine this year. For the life of me I don't know why. Firing pin puts a very nice dent into the primer. You can't tell that spent load from the next. It has not happened in a while and am thinking it was a bad batch of primers -

if you are not changing your AOL with barnes bullets you are missing the mark by miles. Load 6 sets of 3 cartridges. Start .030 off the lands with the first 3 and then seat the next 3 .010 deeper, then the next deeper until you get them all loaded. One will shoot way better than the others...- tom338

Cargo trailer feedback needed

how much room for a cape??

Dreaming big this season.....how much room does a nice (280-320) bull elk cape take cooler and ice wise?? If I score on one I am planning on cooling the cape overnight then putting it in a garbage bag then putting it in a cooler with ice to hopefully keep it from slipping. I do plan on having... -

So when is the "park" going to thin the buffalo herd?? Maybe if there were fewer buff the park could hold more elk?? Buffalo are an ok animal but I was in the park 3 years ago and the place was crawling with them. -

Hand Held GPS or Cell Phone

You can download a map to your phone, a good color one. Plus a topo map. You use your ONx just like a GPS. But you must pick the size of the map area you want and download to your phone. Then you can see it without cell reception. So its best to download the map you want while using wifi or... -

Dismal morning at the range......need help!

Bringing the head home?
I have not done this but have heard it works. Find a car wash with a wand, go in and it acts just like a pressure washer. Although I sure its a dirty messy job. Wash the skull down with it. -

Blisters
When breaking in a pair of boots I always put one a pair of thin liner socks then my regular socks. My partner wears sock liners all the time in all his boots, really helps- tom338
