    Thoughts ???

    I have the Savage Ultralight in 6.5 PRC. The fluted bolt is very chattery, you can feel the fluting when cycling the bolt. Now that I've shot it quite a bit the bolt has gotten lots smoother. Check the rate of twist for the barrel on the Tikka, I don't know what it is, at least 1:8 is really needed

    Hammer bullets has a web site with load data on it so you may want to sign up to it. I do believe there will be some info there that will help you out. There are 2 different pages of load development, one for hammer hunters and one for absolute hammers. DO NOT MIX THEM UP

    As a non resident I'm always shocked to see the price a resident hunter in Montana pays for a elk or deer tag. I live in MN and pay 38 bucks for a deer tag. Whats the price of a resident Montana elk or deer tag??? And when is the last time the price of a resident tag was increased??

    Just got back from helping my son with his deer hunt. We covered 5 times the amount of ground we did last season. We saw lots of deer last season as in the past 3 years. This year we saw only about 20% of the number of deer we did years past. It was shocking to say the least.
