Hi there, I'm planning a mule deer hunt for this fall and am considering area 66. So far, most of the landowners I've talked to are telling me that there aren't enough deer to give permission, and I know over the last number of years it sounds like numbers have been declining, I was just curious what your take is for this particular area?

I'm looking for some general information on regiona D for mule deer I'm considering putting in for the draw but not sure it not looking for a giant honestly looking for some adventure my goal would be to just spot a deer thanks .
Howdy Sir, I saw your post about region D, area 66. I did some scouting up there in July around Bates Hole over near Bummer ranch I believe, off 487. Didn't spot any bucks but someone said go check out Chalk mountain? Any advice you have would be much appreciated. BTW, That buck in your photo is a gorgeous deer! Congrats on that one!!
