Weapon or technology restrictions?
I like Idahos approach where you can only get the tag for a specific weapon. Archery, rifle, muzzleloader, or short range. Pick your poison. Not sure if that's what you're asking, though.- Wyhunter

Scope selection ideas
I put a nightforce on my 6.5PRC, now I'm afraid to take it out of the safe or hike around with it. My advice would be to not go too fancy. -
