Got out twice so far. First day was a quick trip before work on opener. Got cut short by getting called into work early but still got a sharpie.
The next one I didn't get onto any birds but it was the best hunt of my life. I got my 4 year old daughter out on her first hunt. We only went about a...
Especially when I'm down to the last few days of the season and I might be stuck at work. On top of that my daughter who is 3.5yrs old got to watch it happen. She was pretty excited and luckily he folded immediately and expired without any drama. I couldn't have gotten her a better/cleaner first...

I have a Glock 29 that I conceal carry everyday but when I am poking around in grizzly country I carry my 329PD. Luckily I have not shot either out if necessity yet so I can't say if one is more effective than the other. I do kick around the idea of carrying the Glock into the backcountry just...
I took my bear fence into there and still came no where near 90lbs. Here is my lighterpack breakdown with a bear fence. I too go in there solo and sleep a lot better with the fence around me, I have even kicked around the idea of taking it with me when I leave camp for the day and set it up in...
