Hey good on ya man. 45 years ago I was sitting in a bar. My buddy said let's go for a ride. I said let's go to AK. That was on a Wednesday. On Friday we were on our way. Never looked back. Got here n said this is home.
Sure glad that I'm the type of person that is willing to open that...
Yeah my hope to be out at our cabin. We can harvest 3 black n 2 brown bear without any special permit besides a license n free black bear harvest tickets. The area has sooooo many bears that the moose are being effected. One game board has declared an emergency predator control area type thing...
I just had a knee replacement and going back to the surgeon today about my back pain. I want to be in as good of shape as I can. I have grandkids to teach

Thank you. It's real nice to have a cabin to base out of. Surrounded by a kazillion acres of public lands that can be explored. Particularly since I'm getting oller. And it's nice to be able to bring myself beautiful wife out with me. She really enjoys the solitude. Also nice and have a place...
My happy place is at our remote cabin in the middle of nowhere Alaska. Nestled at the base of Mt Denali. I can go there for 6 weeks during moose hunting season and come back a different person. It's a place where time doesn't matter. Not very many places like this in this day n age.
Hunting in ak bush for 45 years. I stopped carrying a sidearm 20 years ago. I have been charged by a brown/grizzly bear while at our home, back porch. Shot it with a rifle from 4'.
While out at our remote cabin I generally don't carry anything. Just don't feel that the chances of being...
