Picked up a box of this on sale today for the 7 Rem Mag. No experience with it but the fact it’s a bonded bullet made me think it would work well on elk or moose. Anyone ever shoot this stuff, and what sort of accuracy/performance should I expect?

Shoots lights out awesome out of my a-bolt 30-06 after i adjusted the BOSS. Shot a pile of whitetails, a couple pronghorn, and two cow elk with those and was very happy with bullet performance. Wish I could find more cheap.

The hammerheads might have been discontinued. A year or two ago Buds Gun Shop had a few calibers like 3006 and 308 in hammerhead selling at around $20 per box. Your buddy might be shooting Sako Powerhead or some other variation.

It is an all copper bullet as far as I know. They shoot half MOA in my 7RM. Don't have any experience on game, but I assume they'll work well.

I picked a couple boxes on sale of the sako super hammerhead in 30-06, it's shoots well out of my xbolt. Just as good as norma bondstrike.
Also got a couple boxes of the gamehead in 243, shoots well too.

Haven't killed anything with either though but should be a good bullet.
