So with a pinch of luck and prior year draw odds I should be able to pull a tag for 2021. My wife and I will be out in wyoming for 12 days, mostly hunting as I am assuming it will take a bit to fill my tag. We will take a couple days off for a visit to Saratoga to soak in the hot springs and the brewery. I love craft beer, especially IPA’s(no man bun and I don’t own 6.5 CM). I am from Michigan, an hour north of self proclaimed Beer City USA. home of the grand daddy brewery Bells and Founders and Perrin and the list goes on and on. We will be in the south central wyoming. Any specific breweries that hit a home run? My definition of home run is not only good to great beer but also good to great food. Anything worth visiting in Laramie or Cheyenne or Casper or Douglas or anywhere within a few hours. Hek, I supposed it’s somewhat possible to tag out early and would leave time to even visit the western side of wyoming for beer. Thanks in advance

I’m not as well traveled on east side WY beer. My favorite straight up beer is at Tensleep. My favorite food/beer combo is Melvin/Thai Me Up in Jackson. Both of which are well out of your way.

I'm watching this one and well. Hoping to have a tag in south central WY next fall as well.

I enjoy most of what Founders puts out.

If your such craft beer guy you should hunt montana instead, pretty sure they outlawed normal beer and make everyone wear skinny jeans and wear flat brimmed hats...lol.

Seriously if you make it to pinedale wind river brewing company(eat the steak sandwich), jacksons got a few but i dont know them, cody/powell got several and all are great but WYO Brew is my favorite.

Busch is all you need! Hell if you buy them all i bet they let you keep the deer display

They have the silver cans in Wyoming. But yeah, Montana has better beer. mtmuley
I can only imagine. Even in the mid 90's, when I lived in the Missoula area, the beer selection was pretty darn good. I can only imagine what it's like now. I was like a kid in a candy store every time I saddled up to the bar at the Rhino. Good thing I didn't have much money...

Wyoming hits above its weight in craft brewing.

Laramie: Coal Creek, The Library, Altitude, and Bonds Brewing.

Snowy Mountain Brewery in Saratoga.

Snake River and Melvin if you're in the fancy part of the state.

Gruner Bros in Casper.

Sounds like Jackson may be a little out of your way...but if you find yourself up there, another vote for Snake River Brewing. I like their Jenny lake lager. Good luck on the hunt!

Thanks a ton my hop brothers and or sisters. my wife and I were on the couch last night going over a med kit for the trip and somehow my wife asked about wyoming beer. I had to lay it out on here and find out more!!!!!!!
