Hey everyone,
I'm looking for some advice on hunting antelope in Unit 43 of Wyoming. My dad and I will be starting off our hunt during bow season and will progress into gun season if we don't fill our tags. We both put in for the Diamond Lake HMA, and while my dad has hunted in other units of Wyoming for various species, this will be our first time in Unit 43.
This is also my first western hunt. My dad and I are both from NW Ontario (Canada) where the hunting and landscape are quite different - whitetail and moose are what make up my yearly hunting adventures here at home. I've done a lot of map scouting and looked into potential access points, but I'm hoping to get some additional tips from those who have experience in this unit. Any advice on access, terrain, antelope behavior in this area, or anything else would be greatly appreciated.
