WY Unit 103 Cow

Idaho resident that pulled a Wyoming NR general tag. Struck out on my main hunt in unit 91 but noticed I can go back first half of November for a cow in nearby unit 103. Per On X's layer looks like the majority of the unit is winter range. For a cow this time of year should I be focusing on the winter range or still the summer range? Any other advice on the unit appreciated. I've spent a good amount of time in 91 but never 103.

Hard to say, but for the first half of November, I'd imagine if there is a decent snowstorm that they'll be headed that way. The elk were on the National Elk Refuge at this time last year, kinda just depends on the snow. I'd probably start high and then work my way down. I'd be interested to hear how it goes.
