WY antelope license requirements

We are first time Wyoming hunters. We have applied for and drew antelope license for a 2018 hunt. Are there any other licenses that need to be purchased to legally hunt? In Iowa, where I am from, in order to hunt deer you need to purchase a deer tag in addition to a "general Hunting" license. Is that the case in Wyoming also, or is it just the unit specific antelope license that I need? Trying to make sure that we have all of our bases covered before we get to Wyoming. Thanks

If you plan on hunting any HMAs you'll need permission slips (free). Last year we showed up to some state land I'd planned to hunt to find HMA signs up. We had to drive in to Casper to get the slips prior to hunting.

I cursed myself for not thoroughly researching the area, but was told at the G&F office that it was a newly designated HMA, so it wouldn't have been classified as such when I was researching the area at application time.

Not sure how they'd do the part you leave in your car, but it'd be nice if the Wyoming Hunttalkers would be able to get the G&F to have the option of loading, "signing" and saving the .pdf on a phone of the permission slip. Especially those that are unlimited in number.

If you are old like me and born prior to 1966 there is no hunter safety card requirement, correct?

The only other license you need is the conservation license, which if I remember correctly is $12.50.

It's actually called a Conservation Stamp and each person needs one each year they hunt in Wyoming. It is $12.50 and can be purchased online on the G&F website and you print it out yourself after you pay for it online with your CC.

Yeah, I've seen that they call it a stamp, but I refuse to call it that, as it is in no way, a stamp. You buy it and then you're supposed to print it on letter size paper, how can they call it a stamp?

HMA permission slips can be printed out at home after you get notification you drew or when you get an unlimited one.
Archery license is also required to hunt during the archery season but not archery during the rifle season.

I don't have mine in front of me but isn't it an actual stamp if you buy it in person?

It was a stamp to begin with and still is unless you buy it online now and print it out on your home computer. They still refer to it as a stamp though. When I do mine online I downsize it so it's only about 1/4th the size of letter size paper. I then cut it out and staple it to my license so it doesn't get lost.
