Just heard of the first wolf kill over here in SE/SC Wyoming. 90 lb female taken by a cow hunter in northern part of our county. Sightings had been confirmed so it was just a matter of time.

I saw 5 in the north end of the Little Snake River drainage in Colorado two years ago. They were 13 miles from the Wyo border.

They have been sighted over there for a bit now and moving east. We'll certainly be looking out for them.

I’ve heard of ranchers saying they have seen them in the Centennial area? Any idea if those rumors are true? Also some near encampment?

Yes they have been sighted and verified in those areas . A shot was taken on one just outside Centennial few weeks back.

I got nothing against a few wolves, like a bear or a mt lion, i myself certainly don't care to hunt or kill one. But i get pretty pissed off when our Deer herds have continually dissipated away through the years partly because of a "protect the wonderful predator" attitude by the majority in Calif, and they go and stock the heck out our country, with wolves, right exact center of where i live. This latest kill report, about 3-4 miles away from my house. And hardly a deer to be seen or found anywhere.

This flick is of a wolf seen about 300 yds from where i lived and moved from 5 yrs ago, Chester Ca., just 13 miles from my current address.

I'd like to know what the plan is for all these big predators to eat? Seems like slim pickings to me.

Come on uncle sage, don't you watch Disney movies? All the animals will live together in harmony. The predators will only kill what they need to survive and mother nature will find a balance. At least it would if it wasn't for us vile humans hunting all of those innocent animals and getting in the way.
