Came up yesterday. My daughters worked together to catch the first one.

Ended up with on two for the evening between the four of us but they are good ones. Both were just at 20 inches.

Awesome! I think the first time I ever went there was in the late 60's. The fishing was always great.
It's still one of our favorite fishing and hunting destinations.

I haven't been up there for years. I've been seeing a lot of perch coming out of there recently.

Nice looking fish! Might need to throw a pole in the truck when we go up to scout for elk.

If you have an area 6 or 061/071 tag, make sure you do. Water is spilling nice, and there are plenty of fish. Weather is horrible at the moment though.

Have the 061/071 early cow elk tag. Is the camp ground at WH a first come first serve or is it a reservation required camp ground?

First come first serve. We just left. There was a constant stream of people and out, even with the bad weather. To add to the problem, the state park b is capped at 17 of 34 spaces for camping. The Indian land is open, and even they are filling fast since it opened Monday. But there are no amenities on the Indian land.

Pm me if you need more information. We can talk of you like.

7 trout in our box. 5 over 18 inches. Longest is my oldest daughters at 21 the picture here. Heaviest is the picture here with my youngest daughter. That one was pushing 3 pounds and she caught it on ultralight gear. We also caught a few perch and small bass.

Weather was a challenge. It was cold, windy and rainy the whole time.
