Anyone know anything about hunting this area? It is unit 20c and it's my first time hunting that area. any info or contacts would be helpfull.

Thanks for the info danr55. My dad lives out there and is going out with me so he is doing the scouting before we head out. Any and all info is helpful.

As always, the AZGFD is a great resource. And they are dead accurate about the difficulty to the good hunting areas through Peeple's Valley. Trust me, tried and tried, but due to the patchwork of private land, couldn't find a clean way through to the mountains.

Best to break off just after Congress, and take the dirt roads around the mountain. Tough country, but there are mule deer out there.

I lived on a ranch outside Skull Valley in the 70's. There were lots of decent bucks then,but don't know about now.

Absolutely welcome. It was the first unit I hunted. Was unsuccessful, but it's beautiful country regardless - high desert.
