I was thinking that today.... It's been for ever since I've cried, I think it might have been last on my wedding day.. :)

That being said, Today I cried. Blake Stevens of Pocatello, a Great young man,GI-JOE and Tatoo artist, has passed away earlier today. He was killed in Irac with a road side bomb. My wifes brother Mike (GuITARzAn that posts here sometimes), that works for me, came back after lunch and walked down the hall and called me back to my office. I knew it was no good when I seen tears coming down his face. Blake was his best friend and his Best man at his wedding. They were Like brothers.

Anyways, I maintained composure untill I told Mike to take the rest of the after noon off and gave him a hug and sent him home. I realized how quick life can be over........ Gawd Dang I feel for his friends, and his Wife. Something I can't imagine.

Well, I didn't mean to make a Sob story and bring anyone down but did want to pay my respects to Blake !!!

Ride it like you Stold it Blake, R.I.P. brotha,
R.I.P. !!!!!

thoughts and prayers go out to the Stevens family.

Sorry for his passing Oscar and my thoughts/prayers to his friends and family. My last time was the death of a good friend as well. :(

Sorry to hear about your bro in laws friend. Very sad deal for sure. Thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family.

For me it was when I thought I lost my droptine buck. Then again after I found him he had broke off the dropper.

Actually I believe the last time was when my brother died.

The last time I cried was a few weeks ago when I was having the worst gallbladder attack ever. That damn thing caused me tremendous pain for about 90 minutes and the worst part of it was friggin' unbearable. I bet it was worse than child birth but I don't know how that feels honestly. I have since taken the bastage gallbladder out so I got the last laugh there.

Blake Stevens should be commended for his service to protect our freedoms that we commonly take for granted. He and his family will be in our prayers.

...too many close friends recently for me. Condolences to the friends & family of Mr. Stephens.

My deepest sympathies for your friends there Moosie. He looks like the kind of young man who would jump on his helmet on a bomb to save others around him if he could.

Just Last Month When A Great Guy/Friend got killed on on his Harley, My wife and I cried together..

Moosie, I`m truly sorry for your and everyones loss up there...Very Sad.

Sorry to hear that. Last time I cried was when my Dog died. I had a rough time with that one.

Sorry to hear. Praying for the Stephens family.

Last cried when lost my grandmother a couple of years ago. No shame in shedding a tear now and then.

Sorry to hear that also.

My 84 year old fatherinlaw passed away in march. My wife and I took care of him for the last three years. I didn't cry. I loved that guy. We hunted and fished together for 28 years. I think I was glad he wasn't suffering anymore.
I almost cried when my wife asked me to look for his army disscharge papers and I came across a letter from the goverment to his mother saying her other son was killed in WWII. Just holding that letter and thinking of the day she opened it made me tear up. My wife said her mother told her," her motherinlaw was never the same after that day." I don't know how they tell them now days, but that has to be a sad job. I couldn't do it.

Last time I cried was when my dog died seven years ago. Weird,a stupid dog.

I cry at the drop of hat lately. every time I hear of another soldier dieing I fight back tears but usualy loose in the end. When I start to think of the willingness of these men and women to sacrafice there lives to protect my fredoms.

I can only offer my prayers and condolencis (I can't spell) to the family. They too have made a huge sacrifice here as well.:(

Prayers to the family,

The last time I cried was Memorial Day 2005 I was on my way back from fishing Loon Lake in the Sierras. I was listening tho the radio when they announced that 1st Sgt Michael Barnhill was killed by an IED in Iraq. Mike was a year older than me and had convinced me to join the Corp in High School. I was a year behind but we kept in touch.

God bless Mr. Stevens and his family. Giving your life for your country and family is the ultimate sacrifice. I thank God for young men like him. Sorry for your loss.

Last cried last fall when we had to put our 13 yr. old lab down. Still miss that dog.

Well there was a real good article on this hero in the Idaho State Journal. Front page headline, above the fold.

Again, condolences to all friends and family.
