Gastro Gnome - Eat Better Wherever

What’s better than a Christensen?

CA, Fieldcraft, and maybe Browning with the McMillan stock would be my top choices.

I am probably an odd duck... but I have a Christensen and several Tikka t3's. The Christensen shoots awesome, but for hunting I hate the bolt throw (compared to the tikka) and the tight tolerances make me nervous in dirty hunting conditions... always worried about the bolt getting stuck (maybe unfounded, but I think about it). So if I were buying again, I would pick out a Tikka and then upgrade the stock. After shooting both guns for a couple of years now, I can still shoot the tikka's better.

Spend more time behind the rifle you own and upgrade your glass... that’s the ultimate mountain setup

Pretty affordable for what you get looks like. They should make it with a 26 inch barrel in .300 RUM. mtmuley
