$85 Sportsman with bear over the counter, plus a $19 guarenteed pronghorn license. All animals taken on public land available to anybody... sucks living here. Now if I could just fill this $5 turkey tag, life would be complete. :D

Yeah, but now you have the cost of taxidermy....lol...so now it's more like $3304....

Can you at least look exhausted in the pics or something? I'm sure as all heck you worked your tail off for those - Though your series this year reads like a fairy tale! Hell, our population just doubled showing those pics! :D

Grats on a fantastic year, GH!

For another $690, Wyoming would only part with these... again, both taken on public. I'm pretty happy with my season, it was a ton of fun and I scored some super animals.

It does appear that my yellow "Humpy's" hat brought me some luck. Next time I'm in Anchorage, I might have to stop in there for a meal and a beer.

And now it's dumping snow out - elk hunting around here will ROCK. The muleys are starting to stick their noses in doe's butts - and I'm all done. Hopefully I'll get out some more with friends. I suspect it isn't quite over yet.

I gotta confess, when I saw the title of "What $104 can get you in Montana" I was kind of thinking this was going to have lots of pictures of strippers, singles, and lap dances....

I think I am a bit disappointed and there needs to be a bit of a disclaimer that it is only a bunch of dead animals in the thread.

Geez Kurt at least wait until the end of the season to do the annual "What you can get...." posts:D Congrats to everyone who's done well thus far.

Lion? Where is the lion? Wolverine is comming up. You can hunt them rather than trap them. That might be just the thing for you, strap on the snowshoes and chase a wolverine down. Time for you to start thinking outside the box. Lotsa season left.

Congrats on all the awesome animals...let alone in one season...do you hunt same areas year after year or do you just do your "research" and that pays off for you?

Seems worth of a "Top It....." post over at the place.

cool montage of pics--somehow i missed the bear pics before, so good job on the bears since I've not said it before...

very impressive take....I'm really amazed at how you can kill a mature boar spot and stalk consistently....seems like an daunting task....Kudos!
