Went for a ride yesterday

We went for a ride yesterday afternnon down to Hoback Canyon. It started out being a real nice day, blue sky and sunny but clouded over and started to snow a little. It has been quite awhile since we went down to look for sheep, so yesterday was the day. We did not see many, only two, but it is nice to see them anyway.

Cool Pics! Those look to be dandy bighorn rams.

Is hoback canyon by the hoback ranches at all? Or is it farther north towards Jackson? Is it accessible by 4x4 or do you gotta use horsies?

Wyodeerhunter, this is about 2 miles before you would get to Hoback Junction, just past a place called Camp Creek, a restaurant on your right side. You can see them right near the road.

Maybe I'll head up there this saturday and take a few pics of them.

Last time I saw bighorns up your way they were by flat creek road east of the elk refuge.

GREAT PICS!!!!!!! Nice rams too. THe snow doesn't look too deep, but its still snow. Maybe by next year I"ll be ok with it again...LOL
