In his mouth like a rose? Or maybe he was playing fetch like Rio would. Or was it n a backpack? How do you know it was his leg? Maybe it was a trophy from the buck he whooped. Either way, I’m shooting that Sum bich, shit ain’t natural when a deer is wearing a backpack. Next thing you know it will be swiping its hoof at some imaginary thing and snarling it’s teeth.

I’ve done it but he had bone poking out of the knee joint. I was able to watch him for a few days before deciding to feed myself and not the coyotes. Was a nice deer with lots of potential.

I think so as well. I would have liked to have given him another year or two but the yotes are just too thick where I hunt. I had him shoulder mounted; it was on a two week hunt exactly this time of year. Thanksgiving week has always been good here.
