Wow, some of the convo in this thread reminds of a simple observation, which by the way, may have been made by others: It's a good thing we have a two-party system because as long as those two parties are at each other's throats, and remain focused on tearing one another a new arsehole, the rest of us can hope to live our lives in a fitting way.

Amen. I will never understand why someone would want to pigeon hole their thinking and beliefs by putting an R or D after their name.
